Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This website is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Nothing on these pages, and nothing returned by a linked third-party tool, may be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
How Current Is the Information?
Public rolls are corrected, offices revise portals and charges, library holdings move, and digitization can change coverage. The pages are maintained in good faith, but no item is guaranteed current or error-free. Confirm any important record with the office that keeps it.
No Legal Advice
Nothing here is legal advice. The pages identify record sources and explain how New Britain rolls and directories are generally accessed; a reference site cannot replace advice from a licensed Connecticut attorney.
Use the Information Lawfully
Public records serve transparency and legitimate research, not harm. Do not use anything found here to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or hurt anyone. Connecticut stalking provisions, Conn. Gen. Stat. §§53a-181c through 53a-181e, and harassment provision §53a-183 may apply, as can federal law. Misuse also violates the Terms of Use.
Search Tools Run by Others
Some lookup boxes are supplied by outside companies. New Britain Residents Directory does not control their results, prices, availability, or handling of submitted data. Their output is not an FCRA-compliant consumer report.
Links Away from the Reference
Links lead to assessor and Town Clerk portals, voter tools, court searches, libraries, archives, and related resources. External operators control their own content, accuracy, availability, and policies.
No Public Records Are Hosted Here
No government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital record is stored on these pages. The reference points to the offices, libraries, and portals that hold them. Requests for copies, verification, or correction must go to the responsible custodian.
